JOHN MASTERN DZONZI


"My name is John Mastern Dzonzi, a qualified Malawian Educator, experienced communicator, trainer, and community organizer.


This man's areas of expertise include youth leadership development and community mobilization.


Mr. Mastern also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biblical Studies with minors in Education and Communication obtained from African Bible College in 1999.


Aside from these accomplishments, he is computer literate and blinqual (English and Chichewa).


He says, "I am currently studying for my MAR" through Reformed Theological Seminary's virtual campus.


"I like ABC because it opened my eyes to the realities of life both spiritually and physically. I learned to 'work smart' and be determined."


Over time, Mr. Dzonzi has cultivated vast experience in issues of HIV/AIDS as they pertain to the facilitation and development pf life skills education. Since 2002, he has worked with an international organization called World Relief. They respond to the HIV/AIDS crises through transformational development.


Regarding his tme at African Bible Colleges, John Mastern has many positive things to say.


"The daily chapel service helped me to grow spiritually." His favorite classes were, speech communication, hermeneutics, "Art for Teachers," and a study of Joshua.


"My favorite professor was Dr. Rev. Jack Chinchen. Because he had an illustration for almost every topic."


"I like ABC because it opened my eyes to the realities of life both spiritually and physically. I learned to 'work smart' and be determined."


As he reflects back on his days at ABC he comments, " I really miss the spirit of togetherness [I experienced] among [felllow] students."
